Cloud9

Although born in Massachusetts, Meteos's hometown is actually Fairfax. He started playing games when around the age of 5 with his dad's Game Boy. Before LoL, he was a sophomore at Christopher Newport University working towards a degree in Computer Science. Meteos started playing League of Legends with his brother, and at first he didn't really like the game, but it grew on him over time. His first main was Singed. He played ADC in Season 2, but eventually switched to Jungle in April of 2012. He achieved a high ELO by playing Skarner, which people began to recognize him by. He's played a lot of Jungle Elise in Season 3.
Meteos played high ELO normal games for a long time with almost 3500 wins. At some point, he and a bunch of his friends decided to make a team called Team Normal Stars to compete in Go4LoL tournaments. Although they started to consistently win them after a few months, they disbanded before the first LCS qualifiers because their Top laner was too young. He became friends with WildTurtle through solo queue and was asked by him to sub for Cloud 9. He really liked the team, and since they hadn't fully decided on a Jungler, he asked if he could join. Meteos joined Cloud 9 in early March after subbing for them in the MLG Rising Stars Invitational and IPL 6 qualifiers.
He was originally named "Long Dong" before it was changed to "Short Dog" for being offensive. But after an inactive name sweep, his current name became open. "Meteos" was the name he used in WoW for about five years and is named after a Nintendo DS game by the same name that was on his desk at the time he created his WoW account.
